Victoria Stiefvater has a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany, and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from JFKU, Orinda, CA. She is a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a National Certified Counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors, Greensboro, N.C., a Certified Imagery-In-Movement Therapist, and is certified as a Master Practitioner in Seemorg Matrix Work™, a form of Energy Psychology developed by Asha Clinton, Ph.D., Princeton, New Jersey.
She has studied with cross-cultural anthropologist, Angeles Arrien, Ph.D., since 1987, and facilitated Vision Quests and year long training's: Walking the Mystical Path With Practical Feet, based on her personal synthesis of Ms. Arrien's work. She is currently a meditation student of Hameed Ali in the Ridhwan School.
Her practice incorporates a holistic approach to healing the interface between body/mind/spirit. She is a certified practitioner in NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques); in Dr. Ellen Cutlers' BioSet (Bioenergetic Sensitivity and Enzyme Therapy); and Dr. Usui's Reiki Method. Her studies include; Amino Acid Therapy protocols with Julia Ross, MFT; Autonomic Response Testing with Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, Ph.D. at the Institute of Neurobiology, and Family Constellation Therapy with Dr. Klinghardt at the Academy of Neural Therapy, Bellevue, WA.
Victoria has been in practice since 1990. She specializes in Expressive Art Therapy and Seemorg Matrix Work™, in her private practice in Berkeley, CA, and is a Mental Health Trauma Therapist for a residential drug and alcohol treatment center. She is currently adjunct faculty at JFKU, Graduate School for Holistic Studies and has taught for many years in the JFKU Continuing Education Department. In addition, as a Seemorg Matrix™ Trainer, she has traveled internationally to assist with teaching the Seemorg Matrix™ Seminars.
